Learn to Swim with the Southampton Swimming Club Learn to Swim Academy.
We offer children’s’ swimming lessons for beginners/non-swimmers; for children who wish to increase their confidence in water; and for those who wish to improve their stroke technique. All swimming lessons are taught by Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) qualified teachers, under the ASA National Plan for Teaching Swimming. Class sizes are small so that each swimmer receives close attention and to encourage pupils' rapid swimming development.
Our aim is to:
‘Give children the opportunity to learn to swim by developing confidence and stroke technique in a structured, fun and safe environment’.
We have an experienced team of either current swimmers or swimmers who have hung up their goggles to form a structured: progressive and fun lesson scheme. This will get the best out of your child in both technique and confidence.
The swimming lessons run during term-time and take place at Regents Park Community College in Shirley, Southampton on Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings, and parents are able to watch these lessons from a poolside seating area.
